Have you noticed all the Facebook posts this time of year, the ones where someone posts something they are thankful for every day? These people are dedicated and AMAZING!
I’m not one of them.
But I think it’s awesome.
We really have so much to be thankful for, and this time of year is a great time to reflect.
I am thankful for a lot of things. Really. I have been so incredibly blessed. And I believe sharing what I’m thankful for shares good vibes with others.
So, here goes! Catch some of these good vibes.
I’m thankful for…
My amazing, wonderful husband Chef Comte
We have been married for a little over six and a half years now and it has been amazing!
Before we got married, I heard lots of people say their love for their spouse continues to grow. I believed them, but WOW, it sure has grown.
Chef Comte is my best friend. I tell him everything. We counsel with each other on everything. He makes me a better human. He supports me. He believes in me and my dreams.
How did I get this lucky, this BLESSED, to have such an amazing husband?
My pup Obi
Obi will be three year’s old in February. Can you believe that? We have had him that long.
When I finally talked Chef Comte into getting a puppy, I said, “I don’t want a boy and I don’t want a chihuahua.” But then, I saw Obi and instantly fell in love.
And he has been and continues to be the BEST DOG!
He plays nonstop somedays. He is a great cuddler. He’ll lick your entire face off if you let him.
He’s mine and I love him sooooo much!
My amazing family and Chef Comte’s amazing family
They are incredibly supportive and always willing to lend a helping hand. I truly appreciate them, all of them, and hope they know that. (I need to be much better at communicating that.)
This new path Chef Comte and I are on
The last few months have been a wild ride, but we know it’s all worth it. The things we are doing now will lead to a better future life for us and our family. We are doing things now that make us happy and contribute to our earthly and eternal progression.
Speaking of… I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how thankful I am for my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ
I know they love me and want what is best for me. They are molding me into a better person. Sometimes I don’t like the way that molding feels but after a closer look I see that each push and prod and smoothing out and refining are making me a much better human.
I have so much more to be thankful for, of course. We all do.
What about you?
Did you catch those vibes?
